Welcome to Southwest Pediatric Orthopedics, where children come first, and where our medical care professionals and patients work together to provide exceptional medical care for kids in the Dallas area. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, comprehensive services to children from birth through adolescence, and we’re glad you’ve chosen to partner with us.
Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality of Orthopedic care. We understand that as orthopedics, we are more than doctors – we are partners in your child’s health. We strive to treat each and every patient as if they were our very own family. Our office consists of highly qualified and friendly staff who, are here for all of your Child’s Orthopedic needs. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve.
An orthopedic surgeon is a physician who specializes in diagnosis and surgical treatment of injuries and disorders involving the musculoskeletal system. In addition to treating trauma to the musculoskeletal system, these doctors also deal with sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorders.
Our Pediatric Orthopedic practice is known for developing innovative treatment and providing world-class care. We see a wide variety of conditions that affect the growing muscles, joints and bones of children and teenagers. Our team, led by Dr. Kishan and Dr. Hostin, studies and treats problems affecting the growing bones, joints and muscles of children.
Our team comprises pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants specializing in pediatric orthopedics. All of the doctors are board-certified or board-eligible in their specialties, and provide surgical and non-surgical care for children and teenagers.
We are experts in observing children’s growth and in recommending treatment. To help your child, we often use physical and rehabilitation therapies, braces, splints and casts. When surgery is needed, we are very experienced in performing procedures to treat musculoskeletal problems.
In addition to doctors, our team includes highly trained genetic counselors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who specialize in musculoskeletal conditions. We work closely with our colleagues in other specialties, and our patients have full access to the wide variety of services provided by a major regional medical center.
